Kayaking

A canoe and/or Kayaks are available at Cinnamon Bear Cabin as long as you have a means to transport them to the lake and are well qualified to tie them down safely. Roof rack, Trailer, or long bed pickup truck would be required work. Or bring your own kayaks or paddle boards. Nearby Lake Kokanee is the ideal kayaking lake with its undeveloped shoreline, water falls, massive canyons, calm waters, and abundant wildlife. We don’t often recommend Lake Cushman for kayaks since the weather is often unpredictable and a the wind can pick up at anytime at the foothills of the Olympic Range. If you are a strong kayaker, there are entry points that are better than others so let us know your intention.
